Whistling Man is an album in the same vein as past albums. Folk inspired songs starting from melancholic melodies and culminating in lyrics informed from free flowing poetry.
It is a collection of contemporary folk stories including themes such as the sea, departed relationships and a loss of innocence.
The final result are songs accompanied by the talented musicians A J Holmes and Lorraine Hayward on acoustic guitar from Core Arts.
It will be the last album I will be doing with Core Arts and although this will change the nature of the music made I am excited to see the journey and where the next step will take me.
This is my fifth album I've recorded with the talent at Core Arts and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them.
I hope you enjoy the album.
